January 29th, 2010 Bottom of the Sea
Benefiting from the added texture layer in my opinion. If you look back a few posts you can see a couple more from the same series.
Off to work in ‘Spoons’ now. Excitement.
January 29th, 2010 How does your garden grow?
Passing the time, and going back to type.
Get the old work from year one at Uni out. Thank you Anglia Ruskin for a Love of type.
January 28th, 2010 Add some layer styles.
Added a touch of inner glow and a small drop shadow. Which meant no transparency or it all looked too dark. I’ve been on the search for houses today, as we are trying to find a place closer to the heart of LDN.
2 beds and a small budget. fingers crossed.
January 27th, 2010 command D (same again please)
Today I made a few starting designs for a Bar and Events Management Company. I have no particular brief to follow on what the client wants, other than that she wants it to be pink. I suppose that is better than nothing. I know that glasses are a bit obvious, but it’s good practice in Illustrator.
January 26th, 2010 Winter Warmer
I am on the hunt for jumpers. There is no rationality to this love at all, but watch out, or you will be left in the cold.
January 9th, 2010 Happy New Year. Or for some reason Two hundred and one zero.
A Staithes seagul has got his vocal chords out… as per usual, ready to wish a slightly belated 2010 to everyone!
January 9th, 2010 Never ever
Using illustrator and a simple, but vibrant colour palette, and my favorite, loose line drawing style. Breezy
January 6th, 2010 The Big Ship
At work, and suddenly I’m singing “the big ship sails on the Alley Alley Oh, the Alley Alley Oh, the Alley Alley Oh…” and so on and so forth. I need to get back in the habit of making images, and so I have decided to make a set of prints, and use this classic children’s nursery rhyme as the inspiration.
This is my initial idea, so lets see what I can do in my spare time, I have all tomorrow off. fingers crossed.
December 16th, 2009 10D
Living in my uncles kitchen. Well, not really his kitchen, but I do like food and we are cooking all sorts of winter warmers. My camera charger was lost. It’s a 7 yr old canon EOS 10D, bought off ebay, but i love it. Anyhow, my dad got me a replacement charger (thanks dad) and i should hopefully get snapping again soon.
You can see my uncle through the door, and my arm in the mirror. fun eh
